Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you download, install or use Unlure, and when you use this website. By installing Unlure you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not install it.
In these terms, "Unlure", "we" and "us" mean the people who make Unlure, and "you" means the person installing or using it.
What Unlure is
Unlure is an app for Windows 10 and 11 and for Android that blocks adult websites across a whole PC or phone. On a PC it changes the DNS settings so that site names are checked before they load, sets browser policies that keep those checks in place, and puts these settings back if they are changed. On Android it checks site names through a local VPN that carries only address lookups, and it can be made hard to uninstall.
Unlure is in early release. Features may change, and we may release new versions that work differently. The Privacy Policy describes what information it handles.
The waiting period
The point of Unlure is that it cannot be switched off on impulse. You agree that you understand this before installing:
- Turning protection off, unblocking a site you added, switching off a filter or shortening the waiting period all wait for the waiting period you have set. Protection stays on while you wait.
- When the wait is over, an unlock code appears: on your online dashboard if the device is linked to an account, otherwise on the PC itself. A change that is not finished within a day of its code appearing lapses.
- The uninstaller refuses to remove Unlure while protection is on.
- We do not shorten the wait, skip it or give out a code early, including to you.
An administrator account can still remove Unlure by hand, and Windows will always allow that. If you rely on the waiting period, use a standard account day to day.
Use it on your own device
You may install Unlure only on a PC or phone that you own or are responsible for managing, such as a family computer, and only with the knowledge of the people who use it. Do not install it on someone else's device without their permission, and do not use it to watch or control another person.
You are responsible for following the rules of any workplace, school or network the device is connected to.
Accounts
Unlure needs an account: your pack is kept with it, and each PC or phone protects while it is linked to it. Keep your password to yourself; anyone who signs in with it can see and manage the devices linked to it. We may close accounts that are used to break these terms.
Packs and payment
Unlure is sold in packs: 1 month for ₹199, 3 months for ₹299, 6 months for ₹399, taxes included. One pack covers every device on your account.
- Payments are taken by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. It handles the payment and the tax, and emails your receipt. Its terms apply to the payment itself.
- A pack starts when its payment goes through. A pack bought while another runs, or within three days of one ending, starts where that one ends.
- A pack is paid once. It is not a subscription and nothing renews by itself.
- When your paid time runs out, protection stays on for three more days, then switches off on your linked PCs and phones, and Unlure can be uninstalled. If you buy more time later, it switches back on by itself.
- Linking a new device and adding protection need a running pack. Turning protection off, loosening it and removing a device never do: they are always available, after the waiting period.
- If prices change, packs already bought are not affected.
- Refunds are described in the Refund Policy.
What it cannot promise
Please keep these limits in mind:
- No blocker catches every adult site. New sites appear every day, and the lists and family-safe DNS services Unlure relies on are run by others.
- Unlure may sometimes block a site that is not adult content. Sites on the built-in list cannot be unblocked individually.
- While Unlure is installed, websites depend on it to load. If its background service stops, pages may not load until Windows restarts it, usually within a few minutes. Uninstalling it puts your settings back.
- Unlure may not work alongside some VPNs, other filtering software, or networks that require their own DNS settings.
Unlure is a tool, not treatment. If you are struggling with compulsive behaviour, talking to a doctor, counsellor or support group can help alongside it.
Your licence
While your pack runs, we give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use Unlure on PCs and phones you own or manage. You may not sell it, rent it out, share your account or the apps with others, publish modified copies, or present it as your own product.
